Let's On Air 2016 "Among the public opinion - Do you dare to be different?"

Let’s On Air 2016 is here to awaken the dormant uniqueness within each one of us, providing a platform for students to freely express their views and perspectives on burning societal issues.

Objective

This competition is open to young people between the ages of 16 and 25 throughout the country, whether participating as individuals or in groups.

Amidst the chaotic landscape of today’s multidimensional public opinion, have you ever wondered if there’s a way to break free from conformity? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the countless opinions thrown your way, leaving you unsure of your own beliefs?

It’s time to pause, reflect, and tap into your inner wisdom. That is the power of embracing your individuality. Dare to be different and defy the current of popular opinion. Let the world know who you truly are and what you stand for.

The competition consists of three main categories: short films, posters, and articles, offering a total prize pool of over 120 million VND. Winners will receive cash prizes, medals, and the opportunity to attend courses to further enhance their skills.

Important Dates

  • Contest launch date: August 20, 2016.
  • Official date of receipt of contest submissions: August 21, 2016.
  • Closing date for contest submissions: September 25, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Online voting period: September 29, 2016 to October 6, 2016 (for the Short Film and Poster categories).

  • 1st Prize: 10,000,000 VND and a scholarship from FPT Arena Center worth 28,000,000 VND, 50% scholarship applied to all courses of the Institute of Languages and International Studies ILACS, commemorative chapters, and certificates.
  • 2nd Prize: 5,000,000 VND and a scholarship from FPT Arena Center worth 7,000,000 VND, 50% scholarship applied to all courses in the Institute of Languages and International Studies ILACS, commemorative chapters, and certificates.
  • Voting Award: 2,000,000 VND, 50% scholarship applied to all courses at ILACS Institute of Languages and International Studies, medals, and certificates.
  • Creative Prize: 2,000,000 VND
